Brief Emergent Outage Required - All North Island Customers
Hello All –
Brief emergent outage required for all customers north of Woss
All North Island customers north of Woss will experience a 10 minute outage at 11am today. This outage is necessary to ensure safe and reliable service, and will allow crews to complete repairs to equipment at the Woss substation and re-energize the community of Woss. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding while crews work as quickly as possible to complete these emergent repairs.
Where: North Island Communities—Woss, Telegraph Cove, Alert Bay, Malcolm Island, Port McNeill, Port Alice, Port Hardy, Coal Harbour, Holberg, Quatsino, Winter Harbour and surrounding areas
When: Today, Thursday, November 21, 2024
Time: 11:00am – 11:10am (approximately)

On these days only please contact the Village of Alert Bay Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Apologies for any inconvenience and wishing you a great day. Alert Bay brochures will be available at the Village Office (less then half city block away) at 15 Maple Road in the hallway doors unlocked 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. See attached map for directions.
